On the Fly | Boat bashes and bands, brews & BBQ
SATURDAY
A different kind of party is hitting the waves this Saturday, and not just the airwaves.
The inaugural T&A Carolina Boat Bash, sponsored by Wave 104.1’s morning show “T&A with Tommy and Korby,” brings the airwaves, music waves and beach waves together for a day of music, boating and fun in the sun.
More than 1,200 boaters are expected near Bird Island at the Little River Inlet starting at 11 a.m. Power Born Rebellion, Cornbread, and Driven Astray are the local bands performing in sets — on a floating stage — until 6 p.m. with a disc jockey filling in between sets so the fun doesn’t stop.
As the website www.Wave104.com says: go “by boat, jet ski, tube, noodle ... just get there.”
SATURDAY
