Hot Tickets: Downtown battle of the bands continues in Myrtle Beach
The music of Myrtle Beach Boardwalk’s Hot Summer Nights simmers to a boil when the Battle of the Bands hits town every Friday night from now to Aug. 7.
The last bands standing will battle it out for $5,000 in prize packages on Oct. 11, during Oktoberfest. The bands come from all over the nation. Battles began on July 3, and continue on July 31 with:

▪ Southern Tyde (Rising Sun, Md.)
▪ Derrick Dorsey Band (Pendleton)

▪ Savannah Lynne Band (Nashville, Tenn.)
▪ Richard Lynch Band (Waynesville, Ohio)
