Hot Tickets | Battle of the Bands is underway featuring bands from across the nation
The music of Myrtle Beach Boardwalk’s Hot Summer Nights simmers to a boil when the Battle of the Bands hits town, every Friday night from now to Aug. 7.
The last bands standing will battle it out for $5,000 in prize packages on Oct. 11, during Oktoberfest. The bands come from all over the nation. Battles began on July 3, and continue on July 17 with Billy Creason and the DAM-FI-NO Band (Winston Salem, N.C.), Jess Meuse Band (Birmingham, Ala.), Brandon Bailey Band (Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.), Mountain Road (Harrisburg, Pa.) and Norlina (Germanton, N.C.).
The bash continues on July 24 with Chris Garner Band (Lilburn, Ga.), Trea Landon Band (Nashville, Tenn.), Crossroad Station (Columbus, Ohio), Cari Ray Band (Nashville, Ind.) and Lynn Easterly Band (Nashville, Tenn.). All battles are free.
