Nikki Garcia Calls Out Cops After 'Very Shocking' Back-to-Back Tickets

Nikki Garcia recalled a couple of recent run-ins with the law that left her flabbergasted on the side of the road.

"I have been pulled over twice this past month for speeding. Very shocking," Garcia, 42, said Monday, June 29, on "The Nikki & Brie Show" podcast. "By the way, one was so uncalled for. He goes, ‘You were going 41 [miles per hour] in a 25.'"

Nikki's twin sister, Brie, answered, "That is speeding."

"I was going like 35," Nikki claimed. "Anyway, I was not going to argue but I did tell him, ‘I disagree.'"

Nikki had a similar encounter shortly after the first speeding incident.

"I just got pulled over again in Virginia and he goes, ‘You were going 75 in a 55,'" she said. "And I was like, ‘Actually, no I wasn't. I was going 70.'"

She added, "And then I was like, ‘Where was the sign?' I was on a freeway in the woods. Whatever."

Nikki revealed that her protesting didn't fall on deaf ears - but it still wasn't enough for police to fully reverse course and just let her go with a warning.

"This is the thing. The both of them did come back and one was like, ‘OK, maybe you were going 38,' and this one was like, ‘Well maybe you were going like 72,'" she said, claiming her citations may have been due to quotas. "I'm like, ‘You don't even know the exact speed I was going?' It's not the end of the month. Do you really need a ticket?' But I got two tickets."

Brie joked, "Oh gosh, your insurance is going up."

On the topic of speed limits, Brie explained that her husband, professional wrestling legend Bryan Danielson, doesn't exert the same type of risk-taking on the road that he does inside the ring.

"I have to remind him the speed limit all the time," Brie said. "It's not because he's driving fast. It's because he's driving slow."

Nikki confirmed her sister's report, saying, "Your husband is always 10 under or 15 under the speed limit."

Brie and Danielson, 45, have been married since 2014 and share two children: daughter Birdie, 9, and son Buddy, 5.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly last year, Brie said she's actively been trying to set up her sister on dates in the aftermath of her divorce from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev. Nikki and Chigvintsev, 44, finalized their divorce in November 2024 and share son Matteo, 5.

"I'm very happy in my marriage, but I do think I'd be the best wingwoman," Brie divulged to Us. "I told her, ‘This time, you need to listen to me and trust your sister.' I feel like I'd find the best guy."
