Rivertown Bluegrass Society books two guests every month
Rivertown Bluegrass Society concerts keep on pickin’ on the second Saturday every month, at Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s Burroughs & Chapin Auditorium, off U.S. 501 in Conway, and each band takes turns playing two sets.
For Aug. 13, the End of the Road Boys will entertain at 5 and 7:15 p.m., and The Hinson Girls 6 and 8 p.m.
Admission is $12 for ages 12 and older, otherwise free.

‘Hello, Dolly!’ starts Theatre of the Republic’s 47th year
Theatre of the Republic begins its 47th year of community theater, at the Main Street Theatre, 335 Main. St., Conway, with two seasons in one:
