Deadline today for ‘Conway SuperStar’ signups
Today is the deadline to register for Conway Parks, Recreation & Tourism’s “Conway SuperStar Competition,” and all who take part in auditions for this evening must bring a CD with their music: “JuniorStar” (ages 12 and younger) at 5:30 p.m., “TeenStar” (13-17) 6:30 p.m., and “SuperStar (adults) 7:30 p.m. Names of finalists will be posted by 5 p.m. Wednesday at www.conwayparksandrecreation.com. The 18 finalists – six in each division – ultimately will compete at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 (rain date Aug. 20) in the city’s Riverfront Park, for which admission is free. More details at 843-488-1950.
