‘British Invasion’ TV marathon at library

Planetarium, museum open extra days
Two sister entities in southern Brunswick County, N.C., have extra hours this week, but are closed Jan. 1.
At Ingram Planetarium, 7625 High Market St., Sunset Beach:
▪ “Let It Snow – A Holiday Music Journey,” noon and 4 and 7 p.m., and “Laser Holidays” 6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Saturday.
▪ Monday and Thursday – “Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure” 1 p.m., “Undiscovered Worlds” 2 p.m. , and “Oasis in Space” 3 p.m.
▪ Tuesday – “Dinosaur Passage to Pangaea” 1 p.m., “Dynamic Earth” 2 p.m., and “Seven Wonders” 3 p.m.
▪ Wednesday and Saturday – “Dinosaur Passage to Pangaea” 1 p.m., “Back to the Moon for Good” 2 p.m., and “Two Small Pieces of Glass” 3 p.m.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina, 21 E. Second St., Ocean Isle Beach, also is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Saturday.
Each planetarium show, and museum admission, is $9 for ages 13-62, $8 ages 62 and older, $7 ages 3-12, and free ages 2 and younger.

Improv gives final shows of 2015
Carolina Improv Company will have its 2015 finales: “Improv Wonderland Improv Comedy Show,” for all ages, Monday, for $15 ages 12 and older, $13 ages 4-11; and “The Naughty List Improv Comedy Show,” for adults, Tuesday, for $15. Details at 843-272-4242 or www.carolinaimprov.com.
