‘Turkey Trots,’ parade mark holiday

‘Christmas Wonderland’ opens
“Christmas Wonderland” by the city of North Myrtle Beach and Little Spider Creations, opens, operating 5:30-10:30 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays through Dec. 13, then daily, Dec. 17-31. Details at 843-281-3805 or www.nmbwonderland.com.

State parks open daily
Both local state parks are open every day of the year, including Thanksgiving, for walks, bicycling and nature and bird watching,with same admission for each – $5 ages 16 and older, $3.25 S.C. seniors, $3 ages 6-15, and free ages 5 and younger:
