‘A Bounty of Birds!’ at Myrtle Beach State Park

“A Bounty of Birds!” will take wing across Myrtle Beach State Park, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, and many events are free with park admission of $5 ages 16 and older, $3.25 S.C. seniors, $3 ages 6-15:

North Myrtle Beach to open ‘Christmas Wonderland’

Fans who are missing Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland – which set up 2011-14 in Myrtle Beach but is only as close as Simpsonville and Charlotte in 2015 – might like “Christmas Wonderland” by the city of North Myrtle Beach and Little Spider Creations.

This spectacular spread across the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex, at S.C. 90 and Robert Edge Parkway, opens Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving, operating 5:30-10:30 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays through Dec. 13 – then daily, Dec. 17-31.

Activities include a hayride lights show, a 3D “Walk to the North Pole,” “Under the Sea” puppet show, “Rudolph’s Buddies” petting zoo, and paintball attraction.

Free admission. Wristband prices are $26 or $31 for ages 13 and older ($21 or $26 for North Myrtle Beach city residents), $13 or $18 ages 5-12, free standard wristband for ages 4 and younger with adult purchase; and $10 paintball challenge.
