Four-day book sale at library

The Fall Book Sale benefit for library programs opens: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Details at 843-545-3310 or georgetowncountylibrary.sc.gov.

Lunch at ‘Empty Bowl’ benefit

The second annual “Empty Bowl” event will include soup, salad, bread and dessert, plus a handcrafted ceramic pottery bowl to take home as a reminder of all the “Empty Bowls” that need to be filled, to help needy members of the community.
