CCU host for Brice concert, art exhibit

The “Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon Weekend” spans three days:

▪ Health expo, 2-7 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, 8121 Amalfi Place, Myrtle Beach.

▪ Coastal 5k at 7:30 a.m. in waves, and 1.5-mile Doggie Dash benefit for Grand Strand Humane Society at 9:15 a.m. – both Saturday from Marina Inn.

▪ 13.1-mile Mini Marathon, 7 a.m. Sunday from Dillard’s area, on south end of Coastal Grand mall in Myrtle Beach.

Sail away with Georgetown Wooden Boat Show

The 26th annual Georgetown Wooden Boat Show, benefiting the S.C. Maritime Museum in Georgetown (729 Front St., open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays, for free – scmaritimemuseum.org), is 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday on Front Street in Georgetown, with free admission.
