Escape to see ‘Phoenix’

Fans of independent, classic, foreign and notable films might like an easy escape for Cinematique of Wilmington, this week with “Phoenix,” a post World War II-era story about a disfigured concentration-camp survivor (Nina Hoss), unrecognizable after facial reconstruction surgery, searching Berlin for the husband (Ronald Zehrfeld) who might have betrayed her to the Nazis.
