Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan to play free concert on USC Horseshoe

University of South Carolina journalism school alums and Hootie & the Blowfish members Darius Rucker and Mark Bryan will play a brief show on the Horseshoe Wednesday.

The performance, which is free and open to the public, is part of the College of Information and Communications’ grand opening event.

Rucker and Bryan will play at 6 p.m., following a dedication to the school, which cost an estimated $25 million. The bandmates majored in broadcast journalism while attending USC.

The journalism school is at 800 Sumter St.
