How to watch July 4th National Mall fireworks on livestream

This year's Fourth of July fireworks show on the National Mall in Washington is being billed by organizers as a massive display for the nation's 250th anniversary.

The Freedom 250 group, formed under President Donald Trump's direction, is planning the Independence Day fireworks show in honor of America's semiquincentennial.

The display will be part of Freedom 250's Salute to America Celebration, which the group said will also include military flyovers and a huge military ensemble.

"To conclude the program, and commemorate this Historic Occasion, I will be launching, what will be, the LARGEST FIREWORKS SHOW IN HISTORY, right here in our Nation's Capital," Trump wrote in a June 15 social media post.

Here's what to know about the fireworks show and how to tune in.

What time is the National Mall July 4 fireworks show?

The fireworks show on the National Mall were originally expected to begin around 10:30 p.m. ET on July 4, according to Freedom 250. But weather delayed the event. Trump is now expected to speak at 11 p.m. ET, with fireworks following his speech.

How long will the National Mall fireworks be?

Freedom 250 said the fireworks show is expected to last about 40 minutes.

In an attempt to put on a record-breaking show, the group said it will include the launch of 850,000 firework shells from 10 sites around Washington, including the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, Potomac River barges and West Potomac Park.

While guests are welcome to attend the event in person, Freedom 250 will be livestreaming the fireworks show.

The show will be streamed online at Freedom250.org and on Freedom 250's social media pages.

People headed to the event in person can enter via an entry queue on 14th St NW, Freedom 250 said.
