Prince William and Kate reportedly met with Taylor, Travis before wedding
Before Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce held what can be considered America's version of a royal wedding, the superstar couple reportedly met with some British royals.
The Grammy darling and the Super Bowl champion gathered with Prince William and Kate Middleton for a secret meeting ahead of the grand yet private ceremony on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, according to People.
The meeting was likely held in May during Swift and Kelce's visit to England, the outlet reported.
But the royal couple did not appear to attend the star-studded wedding, whose guest list included Bradley Cooper, Jimmy Fallon, Dakota Johnson, Selena Gomez and Patrick Mahomes.
The Prince of Wales appeared on Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, in which he discussed the ongoing 2026 World Cup and expectations for the English national football team winning the tournament.
"It's fantastic. I think it's been a brilliant World Cup," William said on a special July 3 episode. "It's been really well started, and I think the tournament's been well balanced. Logistically, for everyone, being in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico makes it really hard for the teams moving around."
