‘Killing Eve' Star Jodie Comer Wore a Sheer Lace Dress and Set the Red Carpet on Fire
Jodie Comer skyrocketed to fame on the hit series Killing Eve, but now she's killing it on the red carpet in a sheer dress.
Comer, 33, hit the big time in the BBC spy thriller series opposite Sandra Oh, in which she played an assassin who becomes fixated on the MI6 agent who is tracking her. Since she completed her role on the series, Comer has done everything from heavy theater roles to 28 Years Later. But on the red carpet at the premiere of A24's The Death Of Robin Hood, it was Comer's sheer lace outfit that got people talking. Working the red carpet like an absolute pro, the blonde goddess stunned in black with the unusual dress.

Comer is Making Wise Professional Choices
While Comer rose to international fame on television, she's making smart choices when it comes to what films she works on these days. Last year, she opened up to British GQ about how some of her previous work wasn't as emotionally challenging as she wished. More specifically, 2021's Free Guy starring Ryan Reynolds. While she had a great time working on the film, it just wasn't the right choice for her professionally.
"It was my first film and I had the most amazing experience on that job - they were just the most gentle, inclusive, supportive people, and it was incredibly fun," she explained. "But I realized, when I was coming home, Ah, there's something I'm not feeling. I feel like I'm not stretching. Or not discovering. And I realized that it was the emotional part of it. I wasn't exercising [that] part of myself."
Ultimately, Comer said she wants to challenge herself more.
"If the instincts aren't there, if I'm not excited by it, then I just don't want to go near it because then I'm pulling from an artificial place," she noted. "It feels almost dishonest with myself."
