‘Clueless' Star Jeremy Sisto, 51, Hit the Red Carpet and We Didn't Even Recognize Him
Jeremy Sisto may have risen to stardom in Clueless, but we didn't even recognize him on the red carpet!
Sisto, 51, played the jerky Elton who is ruthlessly pursuing Cher Horowitz in the iconic 1995 film opposite Alicia Silverstone. However, his career didn't stop there. He starred for years on HBO's Six Feet Under, became a staple on Law & Order, and starred on ABC's Suburgatory, too. With endless film credits under his belt, including Thirteen and Waitress, Sisto returned to the TV universe on the CBS series FBI. However, he's still a strong presence in the indie film world and hit the red carpet at the Rain Reign premiere during the 2026 Tribeca Festival at SVA Theater this week in New York City. While Sisto looks great, we almost didn't recognize him. That's what happens when you're forever associated with a role in Clueless!
Of course, we would be remiss if we didn't share one of Sisto's iconic lines from the 1995 film.
He's Reuniting With Paul Rudd
While Sisto first rose to stardom in Clueless, he's reuniting with another star from the iconic film: Paul Rudd! The duo both appear in Rain Reign and have nothing but nice things to say about each other. In fact, Sisto said Rudd hasn't changed all that much in 30 years.
"Paul was really the same guy that I met all those years ago, he just brings this grounded warmth to everything he does on set and on camera," Sisto told PEOPLE. "He's just one of those actors who makes everybody better around him and he's really generous."
Rudd also had great things to say about Sisto.
"To get to work with him was really great and there was something very gratifying just about the history I suppose we shared, that it was a while ago. We were both kind of starting off ... It really is something to treasure," Rudd said. "And I felt it with Jeremy that we're doing these scenes and I'm thinking he remembers exactly what it was like to be at Paramount working on Clueless in the same way I do. And there's something really cool about that. And so it was nice."
