Alysa Liu Sparks Relationship Rumors With Fellow U.S. Figure Skater After Viral Video
Alysa Liu and fellow Team USA skater Amber Glenn just sent the internet into detective mode after a viral TikTok had fans convinced there was something romantic going on between them.
The video, shared by Glenn on Friday, May 15, during the ongoing Stars on Ice tour, showed the pair skating hand-in-hand while laughing and spinning together on the ice.
Fans seemingly speculated about their relationship status, as Glenn was prompted to make a comment addressing shutting down any rumors. "GUYS, ALYSA IS LIKE A LITTLE SISTER TO ME! I'VE KNOWN HER SINCE SHE WAS 10 AND I WAS 16," Glenn wrote.

She later doubled down by replying to herself with an old selfie of the two from years earlier, making it clear their connection goes beyond the recent Olympic spotlight. Fans loved to see little Liu pic, though.
"SHE WAS SO BABY," one user wrote.
"This is so precious," said another.
A third exclaimed, "STOP THATS THE CUTEST THING EVER."
The viral moment comes as both skaters continue experiencing a major rise in fame following the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics. Glenn, 26, who openly identifies as queer, has amassed millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram, while Liu's Olympic gold medal win launched her into an entirely new level of celebrity.
Since February, Liu, 20, has made magazine appearances, met Taylor Swift, walked the red carpet at the Met Gala, and become arguably one of the most recognizable faces in modern figure skating.

Her Met Gala debut earlier this year especially caught fans' attention. The 20-year-old arrived wearing a dramatic deep red Louis Vuitton gown complete with matching heels and a glamorous new hairstyle that temporarily made her signature striped hair appear much shorter. The appearance came a few hours after she announced she was the luxury brand's new ambassador.
As for her love life, Liu seemed to previously hint that romance is not currently a priority. In a January 2026 interview with Cosmopolitan, the Olympic champion shared that she sees herself being "single for a long time" and chooses "friendships over relationships any day."
