Look: Gaten Matarazzo to play Mark in London revival of 'RENT'

May 19 (UPI) --Stranger Things icon Gaten Matarazzo is to play Mark in the London revival of the stage musical, RENT.

"RENT returns to the West End, directed by Luke Sheppard and starring Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things) as Mark, a powerful celebration of community, connection and a call to live every minute as if it were your last," the show's Instagram page said Tuesday.

"From 26 September. Duke of York's Theatre. Tickets on sale 12pm TODAY! rentthemusical.com"

Further casting for the show, which turns 30 this year, is expected to be announced soon.

The musical is slated to play through Feb. 13.

Anthony Rapp originated the role in the Broadway production of RENT.

Matarazzo, 23, has starred in the New York stagings of Les Miserables and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
