Myrtle Waves opens season with weekends
A new water-park season is about to flow ahead.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary season, Myrtle Waves Water Park, at U.S. 17 Bypass and Mr. Joe White Avenue (formerly 10th Avenue North) Extension in Myrtle Beach, will open for the season this weekend: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through May 31, also with May 25 (Memorial Day), before opening daily, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. June 6-Aug. 18 (and until 9 p.m. Wednesdays), and 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Aug. 22-23, 29-30, and Sept. 5-7.
Admission, plus tax, is $26.99 for individuals 4 feet or taller, $19.99 juniors under 4 feet, $11.99 ages 55 and older, and free ages 2 and younger. All general admissions include the next day free. Also: season pass deal, for ages 3 and older, $45.99, plus tax and fees, through May 31.
