Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spotted on Tybee Island. Could this be a honeymoon?
Celebrity couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been spotted on Tybee Island, where they met filming “The Last Song” in 2010, and a look at their hands is fueling speculation that they might already be married.
Several media outlets reported that both were sporting what appeared to be wedding bands on their left hands.
“Are those wedding rings?” a caption on The Mirror asks. The publication added the caveat that Cyrus “likes to play with the press.”
The couple announced they were engaged in 2012, broke up the next year and got back together in 2015. Cyrus confirmed the pair were engaged again on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last October.
Hemsworth is in the Savannah area filming “Killerman.” Filming is still going on this week, according to the CDC Extras Savannah Facebook page. (Check out that Facebook page for opportunities to be on set as an extra.)
In the film, Hemsworth stars as a money launderer suffering from amnesia after a freak accident during a deal gone wrong, according to Variety.
But Hemsworth’s time in the area hasn’t all been work.
US Weekly and PopSugar were among the media outlets that published photos of Hemsworth and Cyrus on Jet skis, while the Daily Mail showed them on walks holding hands. A Hemsworth fan page on Instagram — @liamgalehemsworth — includes a string of photos of the couple shopping for a skateboard, Tybee Island T-shirts, and taking what appears to be a framed latch-hook piece “into their secret hideaway.”
Cyrus is the scheduled musical guest with host Larry David on “Saturday Night Live” this coming weekend, according to Billboard.
