Benefit concert, new art exhibit at CCU

Brookgreen Gardens is open daily outside of its annual “Nights of a Thousand Candles” – which is 3-10 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays through Dec. 17, and a finale Dec. 18, with its own advance-only admission rate (call 888-718-4253) – and the exhibits “Holiday Memories of Yesteryear: Nostalgia, Beauty, and Fun,” with electric model trains, and “A Forest Sanctuary,” in a horticulture theme, continue through Jan. 2.
