A third Dairy Queen location is coming to the Grand Strand

Dairy Queen is coming to Pawleys Island.

The popular burger and ice cream chain has a third Grand Strand location “opening soon,” according to its website.

Based on a Google map on Dairy Queen’s website, the fast food spot appears to be going in the building that formerly housed a Hardee’s at 10391 Ocean Highway. It is just south of Waverly Road next to McDonald’s.

The website did not list an opening date. In recent weeks, workers could be seen doing renovations on the building, though no Dairy Queen sign was clearly visible.

This will be the Grand Strand’s third Dairy Queen. as there’s one at 2103 South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach and another at 101 Orchard Drive in Carolina Forest.

In business for more than 75 years, Dairy Queen Chill & Grill’s menu mostly consists of burgers and ice cream.
