Local teenager, Janack, wins bowling scratch tournament

Thirteen year old Madison Janack continued her fine bowling when she ventured to Greenville, SC last weekend to participate in her first Timothy Spencer Rice Scratch Tournament which had some tough competition that included members from North Carolina A&T women's bowling team.

For her sixteen games of the tournament she averaged 225 including a perfect 6-0 in match play where she bowled 1403 scratch over the six games and was the top seed in the stepladder finals where she beat MacKenzie Robinson of Charlotte, NC 258-228. At thirteen, she beame the 2nd youngest of all time to came away with a victory in that tournament.
