CCU men’s soccer falls to Wake Forest in NCAA’s Round of 16
The Coastal Carolina men’s soccer team saw its season end Sunday, falling 2-0 to Wake Forest in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The second-ranked Demon Deacons got goals from Jacori Hayes (21st minute and Luis Argudo (62nd).
Wake Forest outshot the Chanticleers 16-10 and had an 8-2 shots-on-goal advantage.
Coastal (10-7-3) goalkeeper Braulio Linares-Ortiz had six saves.
