As a millenial, what matters to me is candidates who are devoted to liberty and our Constitution. To me, Dr. Rand Paul embodies those attributes. Since getting elected in 2010, he has been a thorn in the side of the political class.

Dr. Paul has fought for us against NSA spying on innocent Americans and against drone strikes on American soil. He has a plan to defeat the Washington Machine and unleash the American dream. He will end the IRS with a 14 percent flat tax, balance the federal budget in five years, audit the Federal Reserve, defend the entire Bill of Rights.

He will defend this nation without being the policeman of the world. For example, does it make sense to send aid to countries that burn our flag, and shout “Death to America”?

Our $19 trillion dollars in debt is our greatest threat. You can't be a strong nation if you are broke.

Stand for Liberty. Vote for Dr. Rand Paul on Saturday, Feb. 20.

John Katsanos, Myrtle Beach
