Mother’s absence at Huggins’ trial raises questions about alibi

jblackmon@thesunnews.com

I have been reading the Reasonable Doubt series by Issac Bailey. The fact that Jamar Huggins’ mother was on vacation, out of state, at the time of the trial is quite telling to me.

I am a mother and if my son was on trial and I knew he was innocent because I saw him at home at the time he was accused of committing this crime, the last place I would be is on vacation. Just because the police did not talk to her does not mean she could not come forward and testify. Makes me wonder why.
