Myrtle Beach police: Man takes picture up woman’s skirt at Wal-Mart

A man used his cellphone to covertly take a photo up a woman’s skirt at the Seaboard Street Wal-Mart Thursday night, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. Thursday to Wal-Mart where a 27-year-old woman reported the incident.

The victim told police she felt something touch her leg and when she looked down, she saw a cellphone was being used to take a picture up her skirt, authorities said.

She followed the suspect, along with management, out of the store and watched him get into a silver Ford Explorer and saw him drive away, police said.

Officers reviewed security footage with loss prevention officers and said the footage doesn’t show the area in the store where the incident happened.

The victim told police she was wearing shorts under her skirt, but still wanted authorities to know about the incident, according to the report.
