MBPD: Manager of gentleman’s club charged with criminal sexual conduct
The manager of a Myrtle Beach gentleman’s club was arrested in connection with sexual assault on Friday, authorities said.
Anthony Louis Strickland, 45, of Myrtle Beach, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and was being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail on Saturday morning, according to jail records.
Strickland is a manager at Chez Joey’s gentleman’s club at 716 Seaboard St. in Myrtle Beach, according to a police report.
Authorities did not release many details on the alleged assault, but said they were called about 2:35 a.m. Friday to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center and met with a victim, whose age was not listed, who alleged she was sexually assaulted by Strickland.
The victim told Myrtle Beach police the assault happened about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday at a home on the 800 block of 48th Avenue North, authorities said.
Strickland was later arrested in connection with the incident, and his bond had not been set as of Saturday morning, according to jail records.
