Myrtle Beach police are looking for a man in connection with an alleged embezzlement that happened at an area amusement park, authorities said.

Officers were called about 5 p.m. Wednesday to the Family Kingdom Amusement Park on South Ocean Boulevard, where a 45-year-old woman reported the incident, according to a police report.

The woman told police that the man who allegedly took more than $330 was a former employee at the park. She said the man’s last day of employment was April 1 and on Wednesday he came back to the park wearing his uniform, authorities said.

The woman told police he went to the concession stand where he used to work and told the worker there that she was needed in the office.

Police said surveillance footage shows the man taking money out of the register once the employee leaves for the office.

Authorities said they are issuing an arrest warrant for breach of trust.

No arrests were made as of Thursday morning. Please check back for updates.
