Second victim dies in crash on Highway 348
Kenya Shavada Robinson, 26, and Tammy Hardee, 47, both from the Loris area, were killed Monday morning in a crash on S.C. 348 and West Bear Grass Road in Horry County.
Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene while Hardee died later at Grand Strand Medical Center, according to Cpl. Sonny Collins with the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 6:25 a.m. Monday on S.C. 348 and West Bear Grass Road in Horry County, Collins said.
Hardee, 47, of Loris died at Grand Strand Medical Center. Both victims were wearing seat belts, Collins said.
A 2006 Buick was traveling west on S.C. 348 and a 2006 Nissan SUV was traveling east when the Buick crossed the center line and hit the Nissan head on, Collins said.
The S.C. Highway Patrol in investigating the cause of the accident.
