Body found in Intracoastal Waterway
A body was found in the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach near the Sunset Harbor neighborhood Thursday.
City spokesman Pat Dowling said the death is not a storm-related fatality.
Dowling said the deceased appears to be male, probably in his 20s.
He said the body appeared to have been floating south down the waterway for 2 or 3 days, and the person was not a North Myrtle Beach resident.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the man.
