Jennie Leotta’s Peanut Butter Chip recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup butter (softened)
1 egg
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder (Jennie uses Ghirardelli because she finds it to be the best!)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 package peanut butter chips
Method
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees
2. Mix both sugars, butter, and egg in a large bowl. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt until dough forms
3. Stir in chips with a wooden spoon
4. Drop dough in rounded tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet
5. Bake until light brown, 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool slightly, then remove from cookie sheet onto a cooling rack until completely cool
Makes about 24 cookies
