Atalaya festival in Myrtle Beach to celebrate 40 years

The 40th annual Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival returns to the Myrtle Beach area from Sept. 25-27 at Huntington Beach State Park.

More than 100 artisans are expected, where fine arts and crafts, food and music are planned.

Events start at noon Sept. 25, and run to 6 p.m. Hours for Sept. 26 are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 27.

The daily festival admission fee is $8 for adults, while a multi-pass is available for $10. Visitors 15 years of age and younger get in for free.
