Myrtle Beach 14, West Brunswick (N.C.) 5 (Halftime) | Myrtle Beach quarterback Everett Golson connected with Jamere Valentine on two first-half scoring passes to give the Seahawks the halftime lead.

Socastee 24, Waccamaw 7 (final) | Quarterback Zack Elliman accounted for all three of the the Braves' scores - running for one and throwing for two - as Socastee knocked off the Warriors. Elliman threw for 120 yards and ran for 100 as the Braves bounced back from a disappointing loss last week to West Brunswick (N.C.).

strong>(At) South Columbus (N.C.) 46, Loris 20 (final) | Rashawn Grate finished with 323 total yards and scored four times to lead the Stallions.

(At) North Myrtle Beach 41, Carolina Forest 13 (final) | North Myrtle Beach quarterback Daniel Smith threw for five touchdowns as the Chiefs downed former region rival Panthers, who remain winless on the season.

St. James 28, Hemingway 27 (final) | Matt Mitchell made a field goal with 11 seconds left to lead the Sharks.
