Quadarius Grate had a hat trick, Luke Williams scored two goals, and goalkeeper Haywood Brandon recorded his second straight shutout as the St. James boy’s soccer team cruised to a 7-0 win over the Bulldogs.

With Brandon in the net, the Sharks (7-0-1) have let up just three goals all season and the senior has recorded seven shutouts.

Keaton Zimmer had one goal and two assists and Andres Telis had one goal and one assist.

CCU women’s golf

Coastal Carolina shot 14-over 298 to sit tied for second after the first round of the 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate.

The Chants were two shots behind Kennesaw State.

Coastal’s Lena Schaeffner was tied for third (71), Malene Krolboll Hansen was tied for fifth (72), Bailey Cocca was tied for 25th (77), Frida Castillo was tied for 33rd (78) and Emee Herbert was tied for 59th (82).
