LEON, Mexico (AP) -- Daniel Carbonell homered and doubled as the Olmecas de Tabasco defeated the Bravos de Leon 11-7 on Tuesday.
Eury Perez singled four times with three RBIs for Tabasco.
Tabasco started the scoring with a big second inning, when it scored five runs, including a solo home run by Carbonell.
After Leon scored two runs in the second, the Bravos took the lead with four runs in the fourth inning, including a two-run home run by Eduardo Arredondo.
The Olmecas later added five runs in the sixth and one in the eighth. In the sixth, Perez and Elmer Reyes hit RBI singles, while Ronnier Mustelier hit an RBI single in the eighth.
Starter Francisco Rodriguez (2-0) got the win while Fredy Quintero (0-2) took the loss in relief in the Mexican League game.
Several Bravos chipped in at the plate, as five players collected at least two hits. Carlos Lopez doubled and singled twice.
