Established | Forestbrook is an unincorporated neighborhood in Horry County.

What’s grand about it | A couple of new businesses have sprouted up at the juncture of U.S. 501 and Forestbrook Road, including a paint your own pottery shop called Harry The Potter and Grand Strand Primary Care.

Events | Forestbrook is part of the Socastee community and celebrates the Socastee Heritage Festival held at the end of Forestbrook Road at the Socastee Swing Bridge. The annual festival has live music, booths of crafted goods and historic exhibits.

Property tax rate | As an unincorporated area, Forestbrook doesn’t have its own taxes. Horry County’s rate is 45.2 mills.
