It’s that time of year again when the politicians are asking for our vote to be re-elected into office again. Has anyone sat down and thought “What has she/he done to help my quality of life?” They can talk about bringing jobs to South Carolina, yes by giving very big incentives and tax breaks, and there are thousands of families that are still unemployed and living in poverty.
Tell the people of South Carolina how much money the state has given to the companies and what tax breaks are given. Haley talks about working for the citizens of South Carolina. If that is true, then why won’t you and the Attorney General allow the same-sex couples in the state to marry.
Don’t they have rights like every other citizen in this state? They pay taxes, they are educated, and they have children. All they want is to be recognized as couple living their life as they choose. Obamacare would have allowed many of us to have affordable health care, but you blocked it. It is time for every able-bodied voter to vote you out of office, for you lied, Nikki Haley, and so has Joe Wilson.
Now to Tom Rice, the only thing you can mention is that you brought the law suit against our President Barack Obama. He is the president of our great nation and you have done nothing for the citizens of Horry County but embarrass us. We never hear from you until election time. Same goes for Tom Scott, who says he has stood next to the working class of citizens in South Carolina.
All that any of the elected officials (Republicans) have done is talk bad about the President of the United States, voted against everything that he has done or attempted to do. Because you want to impress folks back home that you’re against our president. Shame on all of you for not working together to reach a common goal.
Citizens of Horry County, I hope you vote for the candidate that has done something to change your life and those who work with you. Remember, we are ranked as one of the lowest state in the union for education and prevention of domestic violence. Haley is against gun laws, child welfare is a disgrace and this state pays the lowest wages to its employees.
Wake up South Carolina and get the red out of our state and vote for the candidate that you can say, he or she did something for me.
