I am currently a senior Business Administration major at Coastal Carolina University. I have had the privilege to work alongside Krystal Dotson on various community service projects throughout Horry County. Upon meeting her, I knew that she was a natural-born leader with passion and immense drive. I have seen her leadership firsthand and am confident that she is the clear choice for Horry County Council seat for District 8.
Her desire to represent District 8 is more for her community than herself. Her decision to run as an independent shows her desire to be a voice for the people, not just a party. I believe that she is running for Horry County Council because she sees its potential and wants to be a part of the great future that lies ahead.
As a native of Horry County, she is knowledgeable about the issues. As a community leader, she is more than capable of making the necessary decisions to better the county as a whole. Of her many positive attributes, I admire her faith and morality the most. She is committed to doing what is right and will be a representative for everyone, not just a select group.
Working alongside her has made me a better person and I know that her experience, education and passion to serve will make Horry County better as well. The face of politics is changing and that change starts with Krystal Dotson. She is more than capable of representing District 8 as their Councilwoman. She is not only focused on the issues, but sustainable solutions as well. With a selfless attitude to do what is best for her community by any means necessary, Krystal is not just the clear choice on November 4th, but for the future of Horry County.
