Re: Oct. 15 letter from Roy E. Young: “Things to consider before November election”
Congratulations, Mr. Young. It appears you spent many hours researching and regurgitating the Democrats’ talking points. If I had the time I would take each of your points and refute them. However, I haven't the time or inclination.
However, if one can prove that one of your points are not true, or to be more accurate, defies logic, then I think the readers can conclude that the entire letter might lack creditability. Mr. Young stated: “They (the Republicans) have searched in vain, for non-existent scandals.”
Perhaps Mr. Young has never heard of:

Fast and Furious — Where the Administration aided in shipping weapons across the Mexican border. Eric Holder then lied about when he knew about it. Then they used executive privilege to deny Congress the documents to see who knew what and when.
Benghazi — The lies about a spontaneous protest. Or, the many requests for more security that were denied by the administration.
Obamacare — How many lies does it take to make a scandal ? If you like your doctors you can keep them. Period. You will save $ 2,500 a year when passed. You can keep your insurance policy if you like it. Period.
The Southern Border — Tens of thousands of Illegal aliens are being housed in the United States at taxpayer expense. Oh, and no one in the administration knew they were coming, even though we sought contracts to transport them.
I'm surprised that Mr. Young didn't use the words “phony scandal.” Those are the words from Obama's mouth, and you can believe him and not your own eyes. Period.
I think Mr. Young's last paragraph is the most telling and the reason why this country is in decline. Mr. Young suggests that the rich vote Republican and everyone else votes for the Democrats. This is straight out of the administration’s play book. Divide by class. This could be the reason why the administration is such a failure. Our nation works best when we work together. When we are divided we all lose.
