The Kiwanis Club of Pawleys Island held their ninth annual pancake supper fundraiser on March 4 at the Eggs Up Grill in Pawleys Island. The owner, Chris Shadras, and manager Brian Antash along with members of their staff provided us with the use of their restaurant, donated all the food and beverages for the event. As a result of their generosity, we were able to raise in excess of $4,500.
All proceeds from the event will be distributed to various charities that help children in the Pawleys Island/ Georgetown areas. Volunteers were there to help us from the Key Club of Waccamaw High School and fellow members of the Conway Club. The Pawleys Island community should be proud to have a business such as Eggs Up Grill that celebrates their success by giving back to the community in this manner.
Our sincere thanks to the Eggs Up Grill and their staff for supporting our event for the ninth straight year.
