Some of the words that describe integrity are uprightness, honesty and sincerity. These words perfectly describe Mr. Al Allen. Once you meet this man you feel like you’ve known him your entire life. Mr. Allen is running for chairman of the Horry County Council. He is replacing Tom Rice in a special election that will take place on March 12. Not much time to campaign. However, our Georgetown County Republican Women’s Club has heard him speak several times.
He knows exactly what the conservatives of Horry County want. Less government, less spending and personal rights for all our citizens. He has served on council, District 11 for six years. He is familiar with budgeting, working with people, getting things done and promises to have an open and transparent council.
Your County Council has more impact on your daily life than most of your other elected officials. Your property taxes, roads, zoning, business regulations and many
other areas of our lives are controlled by the council.
Al grew up in Horry County. He is a devoted husband and father and an Air Force veteran. Al has been an ordained minister for over 20 years and is a businessman who owns Allen Aviation Inc.
Al Allen will bring honesty and integrity to the office. He pledges to help support and attract small businesses, jobs, and opportunities. He will work to lessen regulations and to simplify zoning. He will oppose unnecessary taxes and fees. He will put an end to “business as usual” and help build a stronger, more united community.
I only wish I could vote for Al Allen myself! Please support this man of integrity. Let’s roll!
