Time for action on gun violence

Enough is enough. We can’t sit idly by and allow any more mass killings, especially of our children. Recently we’ve seen 40!

We can’t go on ignoring the fact that we are dwarfing all the other industrialized countries in unnecessary, tragic deaths from handguns and automatic weapons. We’ve got to come out of the Wild West and embrace the 21st century. I am sick and tired of listening to the nonsensical propaganda from the National Rifle Association as they try to stop all gun control to protect hunting.

Nobody’s talking about rifles. Nobody’s talking about hunting.

What we’re talking about is saving thousands upon thousands of lives by doing away with concealable handguns and insane, Rambo, automatic weapons. How many more children and adults will have to die before we wake up and do what is obviously needed?
