An incompetent president: Part two

If it weren’t so sad, it would be funny. The comic opera playing out in Washington regarding the disastrous debacle in Benghazi is a fitting opening act for the new hit show, “An incompetent president: Part two.” To quote the star of the show, “We are after an election now. I think it is important to find out exactly what happened.” We would not want the facts coming out before the election, would we, Barack.

Unfortunately getting the truth out of this administration is an exercise in futility. The immortal words of Sgt. Schultz of “Hogans Heroes,” “I know nothing,” seems to be their byword. The original cock-and-bull story was that the attack on our consulate was in reaction to an obscure video depicting Mohammed in an insulting way. This was quickly proven a lie, but to admit that the four brave Americans were slaughtered in a terrorist attack strongly related to al-Qaida would not mesh with Obama’s constant mantra of “Osama is dead and al-Qaida is on the run.”

In the mind of Obama worshippers, he himself killed Osama. Dancing in their minds are visions of our fearless leader parachuting into Osama’s compound, knife firmly clenched between his teeth, to personally do away with the reviled terrorist while the members of SEAL Team 6 stood by in awed admiration. Obama’s main contribution to the killing of Osama was his endless spiking of the football and revealing details of the raid including identification of SEAL Team 6, which put them and their families in danger.

What we do know about Benghazi is that Ambassador Stevens pleaded for strongly increased security several times and was refused each time. We also know that the attack was being viewed at the White House in real time and that former SEALs Ty Woods and Glen Doherty were begging for help but no one pulled the trigger to send them aid, which was available less than two hours away. Since the president is the only one who can send the military into a foreign country, the finger seems to point directly at him. The lying and obfuscation being practiced in the affair is worthy of what this administration has been doing for the past four years,

The American people have spoken and Barack Obama will remain our president. I am having trouble digesting the fact that they re-elected a man who has torn apart this country like no one else in my lifetime, which is longer than I like to admit. He has taken a bad situation and made it infinitely worse.

Please don’t tell me that Obama is not strongly influenced by Marxist ideology.

The class warfare and demonization of the rich that he practices is straight out of the Marxist playbook. Rich in Obama’s parlance is anyone making $250,000 a year or more. Hardly enough to buy a palace. The sad part is that half of this country have bought his hateful rhetoric. As he said to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, now that the election is over he will have more flexibility. Keep your belts buckled, it is going to be a long four years.

You Obama voters can now go pick up your free contraceptives.

Please disregard all of the above. It has just dawned on me that it is all Bush’s fault.
