Myrtle Beach NAACP election over

The election of officers for the Myrtle Beach branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is over. The Rev. Mickey James retained his seat as president; he had a challenger, Tiffany Andrews. I won the office of vice president with no opposition.

I have over 25 years of NAACP experience with the former Rev. H.H. Singleton, former president of the Conway NAACP. We are going to move the branch in the right direction, serving the people of Horry County. Not just Myrtle Beach, but Loris, Little River, everybody. We’ll be serving not a few, but all people of colors. We have to reach out and help people when they need help.
