U.S. can’t afford a Romney presidency

Contrary to what Romney and his various spokesmen want us to believe, corporations are not people and the government of this country is not a corporation. The United States was founded as a country of, by and for the people. The purpose of the government is the education, well-being and health of the people, not having a good bottom line. We must remember who we are or we will pay for it for generations to come.

If Romney and Ryan had their way, the middle class would be over, the things that compose the American dream nothing but historical tidbits. You could kiss goodbye to homeowners mortgage tax credits, decent public education, church’s tax exclusions, a Social Security safety net, help for the disabled, benefits for veterans, affordable health care and so much more that keep us moving toward greatness. The corporate oligarchy these folks threaten to inflict on us would leave those who built this country out in the cold. Our once great infrastructure would continue to crumble; they would continue the Bush regime’s attempts to make America a third world country.

Come Election Day we need to send the team of “Ruthless and Truthless” home winless, and continue to move America forward on her recovery.
