Romney tax plan unsupportable

The Sun News article on Oct. 15 headlined “Obama vs. Romney – everyone’s taxes up in the air” really was a shocker. I have followed the Republican primary and the first debate between the candidates and have never seen all the tax proposals laid out together.

Romney is proposing that all higher income people get a tax reduction ranging from $800 to $2,000. But the shocker in your article is his proposal “those making less than $20,000 would see their average federal tax rate increase $149.00.” How dare he justify this in his budget? Wake up everybody – the rich get richer and the poor are kept poorer.

Also the question everybody is asking – what else will Romney cut? Mortgage deductions? State and city taxes? Earned income credit? Many call Romney a flip flopper, but I call him a chameleon – he changes “his colors” depending on whichever audience or financial group he confronts.
