Democrats attack teachings of Catholic church

My appeal is to all Catholics who are planning to vote on Nov.6. I recently came across this excerpt from a letter written by Bishop Paprocki to his flock in the diocese of Springfield, Ill.:

“You need to think and pray very carefully about your vote, because a vote for a candidate who promotes actions or behaviors that are intrinsically evil and gravely sinful makes you morally complicit and places the eternal salvation of your soul in serious jeopardy.”

Catholics should be aware that the Democratic Party has and continues to attack three major teachings of our church in this election campaign, namely contraception, abortion and gay marriage, all of which are considered to be intrinsic evils by the Catholic Church. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ assist you in making your decision.

The writer lives in Little River.
