Living on the southern end of U.S. 17 Bypass, we are the stepchildren of Horry County. The frontage road runs in front of five communities, Meadowoods, Summerall Oaks, Spring Forest, Indigo Creek and Kings Grant.
We are all taxpayers and voters. The area is always neglected. We are lucky the grass is cut, but that is not until it is knee high, and after cutting it looks like a hay field. I think it is about time we had some consideration as to how our surrounding area is taken care of by the county.
